Last week, our teacher in my Interpersonal Communications subject discussed about the so called Vultures in out society that eats up our self confidence, or so to speak, our self-esteem.

And so, in line with that topic, he showed us this video of an amazing person that never did she let anyone eat up her confidence. Her name is Susan Boyle, she claims to be 47; but I see her as somewhere in her 50's though. Anyway here's a link to the video and try to check it yourself.

What I think of her upon seeing this is that, she's very amazing. She's a person who really has something to share to the world. Despite the piercing stares and laughter people gave her at the beginning, though everyone look at her as she still did not loose grip of her confidence. Yes she might be old but she's got the talent not all young people, including myself, have (hahaha). On the other hand, I kind of pity her; it really took her to be that old until her talent got discovered. And again I have to say this, She's amazing! I mean, she's 47 years old (according to her) but she still thinks it's not too late to be what she dreams to be. Now I look towards my self, I'm 18 years old and I think I'm too old to be a Celebrity(my dream... =) ).

Truthfully speaking, Susan Boyle is a living proof that this old and over-rated quote "Pag may buhay may Pagasa" is indeed true.
