I know I'm supposed to be posting about the previous year at this point in time... but I just can't stop myself from doing this first....



yes you saw that right...... that's SNSD.... witht their comeback track + MV I got a boy...... so the next few weeks we will be expecting these girls to come dominate the charts with this new song with lots of appearances on music shows + the unending spazz of Sones.....
well this is really quite a something for Sones in their new year..... good for them they started it this way.... well I admit I really looked forward for this great new package of the SNSD girls.... though I'm absolutely no fan of theirs...

MV
the mv was hmmmmmmm the usual mv I could say. by "usual" it means the studio shot MVs with colorful sets.... + the comic drama feel.... more like the popular thing in the kpop industry right now....
but what makes it a little interesting is that this is kind of the first time I saw the SNSD girls in these kinds of sets. they would usually go with sets like these:






where they would use sets which just looks like some place we know..... or just the plain background....

but now we see the abstract colorful sets... which is really new thing for them....

but I just would like to comment on that brief second that they tried to highlight TEITISEO in the MV.... there's no problem with that... it's just that I want to mention it.... ahahahah!



CONCEPT
well I've been going over the whole "new concept" thing since I saw the teaser, and I might give them a big round of applause over here..... honestly it's not that new to my eyes (such concept), since F(X) is like that... and lots of new girl groups are already stereotyping "hiphop" for that.... but then again, if they are going to the HipHop side of music then they're overall appearance is just so outstanding.
I love the style, (though I saw it from other groups too; I mean the sexy colorful layered baggy look)... never expected that they would look good with it....
honestly, it was the sexy hiphop concept but SNSD style.... there's just something there that made it look different from everyone else. and I love their hairs.... hahahah


SONG
now we go to the song... sorry, but this song is just too........... ehhhh???? the first thing that came to my mind was, "it was so YG" I mean if you are a YG fan, (esp GD) you would notice. The sudden transitions from one beat to another... that's a usual to GD oppa's songs (some of them that is).... but sorry to say, this one's just seem to be overly done.... and when I say "over" it really means OVER!!!!....... too much transitions, you can actually say you are listening to an amateur DJ trying to mash two songs for the first time (make that three for this one).. [sorry Sones, that's what I think]..
well there's no problem on trying to get inspiration from other songs, but they should not over do it... that's totally wrong!....
but then again.... the song is indeed very catchy... and though it might sound bad for me, I still see it climbing over the charts... (Sones and SM stands after all will still support this).


DANCE
the dance I might say is really sexay!.... and it's the first time that they had a hiphop concept so it's quite amazing to see them pop those chests and do an upbeat dance........ it's more of the Hyoyeon thing...... but all of them appeared great..... love it!



so before I finally stop this.... I would just like to mention a few members who caught my eye.......


1)SOOYOUNG
this part is just too cool... seeing her look like this in the beginning of the song is really good.










2)YOONA
is this Yoona or could it be Krystal??...... if you watch the whole MV, you would really get confused.... wow! the doppelganger hahahahah









3) YURI
Yuri in this part just so claimed it...... total daebak seeing her in the center and dancing that locking step thingie..... I just love it
and that pair of shades!,..... too cool unnie! daebak!









4)HYOYEON
of course my Hyo unnie wouldn't be missed..... she's getting prettier each comeback!...... and I love her multicolored hair... uh-mazing Hyo unnie.....
and yes.... her moves are pretty serious......
[but boohoo SM! still you deprive her of a highlight she deserves]






so that's all i think.... why don't you check out the MV for yourself.....
I would not keep this to myself.. but really, the MV is DAEBAK! but I'm disappointed with the song.... mumthing's wrong with it..... and my week of wait was made me say "eeeehhhh????" to this weirdly arranged song.....

but then again...... be happy Sones, you're girls are back!
