I know I made this Kpop only Blog some three months before and I know I should be posting this there and not here.... but it's still not ready, so just allow this one here... ahahha

so let me take it straight to the point..... Monster Rookie LEE HI released another MV for her album 1st love which is ROSE

first I want to say I was AMAZED..... it was like all the genius of YG entertainment when it comes to music videos was packed in this MV..... I see 2ne1's Loney Japanese MV, Big Bang's Monster and GD's Heartbreaker & That XX in it..... like all three combined harmoniously....

okay so I think I skipped a bit.... again let me take you back to where I am supposed to start....

the first thing that captured me is the VOCALS..... of course for someone like Lee Hi, vocals is always uh-mazing..... no doubt on that..... especially on the opening verse.... that "neun sarangeun.....rose" line. [sorry not good at these things... LOL].. and wow, she's learning to rap.... well she's in YG, she has to learn... LOL

second was her image.... it was like "wow, she can shift to any image YG wants" first she was Sexy/Jazzy for 1234; then she's Cute for IT'S OVER; now she's Mature for ROSE...... [though there's a bit of kiddie angle in it] I believe she pulled it off..... esp this part....

looks so elegant and mature....

third was the video..... so I quite explained what about the video already.... I just want to add how the minimalist arrive of it even more fascinated me..... there were not much colors.... just black, red, white, some peach and pink.... and nothing more.....
plus the set design were good.... those big and small roses, the big thorns..... most especially these floating roses....

..............and that SHE WOLF

but then... I quite don't get the men in combat there in the MV..... well maybe just maybe if I understood the lyrics they might make sense..... but as of now, they don't....

and as for the acting, I don't really know if it's a YG trademark or just the acting teachers at YG likes it...... but this is not only true to 2ne1 but to Lee Hi as well [not sure with the other artists, I know Se7en oppa doesn't].. when they film a slow song, they tend to not open their mouths at all.... well it might really be a YG trademark.... yet again, believe me... it doesn't really matter to me..... since again it's a slow song, it quite gives a bit of emotion to it......

and last; I just LOVE~ the end clip...... so simple yet makes great impact....

all in all this is DAEBAK!!!! watch it I say.... another YG genius.....

now I'm curious if Ha Yi will change songs for promotions....
