first off, let me again [for the nth time] admit that I'm a LOSER for just reading this uhmazing trilogy.....
yes, I just finished the Hunger Games Trilogy. and a mixture of words just can't get out of me.
let me start with what I think of the third book, MOCKINGJAY, as I finally got to finish it.
MOCKINGJAY
well I say... what a WAR-ed up book..... the whole of it was about the wars against the districts and the capitol, wars against individuals and wars against oneself. which is very thrilling actually.
so I don't really have to get through details on these wars... only pass trough parts about Katniss and Peeta....
again, I admit.. I'm a Katniss - Peeta fan. [that does not follow it's J-Law - Josh Hutcherson though]
so throughout the wars and bombing and gun firing that happens inside the Hunger Games world, I'm more anticipating those small hugs, small talks and little gestures described in the book happening between them. and yes, I read the ending part, the one with the "you LOVE me, REAL or NOT REAL" part, over and over again.... like surreal!!!!!
of course it was Peeta [and not GALE] whom Katniss loved... he was the only refuge in her unending nightmares, the only one who can tame her.... The one she can NEVER live life without...
no wonder how much I'm screaming off gladness if both of them get together and hatred when Gale comes on the scene.
[P.S: see how much I'm easily pulled into an imaginary world where I feel every moment of it.]
the book is undoubtly a finale.... so much tension and twists that I NEVER did expect to encounter from a book. ended up nicely as well.. and I just LOVE that finale/epilogue
one thing that went a little off with this though is the part when the Capitol was bombed by those parachutes [the scene where Prim died.] well I was expecting more action to it, like how they managed to get President Snow into capture at District 13. How the other managed to escape the Capitol and how the Capitol people managed it. I don't really know.... only that after the explosion Katniss probably went unconscious and woke up in the hospital being revived by Capitol Doctors.
well it's when I wanted action that it never came. I was even confused at some rate [if she was dreaming or not]
but then again this book is waay daebak...... and still can't get over the
.......REAL or NOT REAL....... thing....
next off will be my post about the trilogy as a whole.... so... just click the "New Post" button and read along the way.
