So here comes the K-drama review again......
I know I've been out for so long now... but at least at this time I'm taking a bit of my busy time to make a "quick" review on a drama that I just watched...... and yes, that drama was DAEBAK!!!

Gu Family Book/ The Book of the house of Gu/ love story of Kang Chi (whatever you might wanna call it)...

this Joseon drama or what I call in my own term "historical drama" is about a half human-half mythical creature (or they call a monster, but others say it's a gumiho, but I never saw the ninetails) and his ill-fated love story....... this also shows us a story of bravery, trust and true love..... [i'll just give that short synopsis for this one]

so what I love about the drama is how it separated itself from the mainstream dramas that I've watched.... it's not a "cinderella story" nor does it follow the usual hero-heroine format where the girl always gets saved by the boy and things like that.....

it captured me the most because in this drama, it's the other way around.... it's the girl (Yeo Weol) who always comes to protect the boy (KangChi).... it's her who always runs around just to fight against the bad guys......

I'm not saying that Kang Chi is a weak man n this drama though... he's seriously strong, he can fight too, but he's no swordsman..... wherein YeoWeol is, in fact the best swordsman there is in their place.....

now I can say, it's the type where there is no heroine, it's a hero-hero thing.... both have a different kind of strength and they just come to fight back to back with each other......... which, I really loved seeing.....

what marked in me the most is the heart-felt, tear-jerking ending.....made me cry like crazy [seriously too me 20mins to sober down my tears... ahhaha]..... I loved how strong Yeo Weol's character is, that she didn't fear what's there to come in the future..... all she knows is that she has to live everyday of her life according to what her heart tells her... and she'll never waste a moment.....

you might be curious of what I am really talking about right..... well I say, WATCH IT..... it's seriously one of the must watched dramas there is..... ahahahah......

now if you ask me if this changed my preference on Joseon dramas... well, not yet.... I just watched it, honestly, because I want to support SUZY and of course the love of my life, SEUNG KI........ and yes, these two youthful beauties has a chemistry..... and I love it....

see it's a short one right.... not like the usual ones I make... don't want to spoil you.... and yes, I have lots to do still... okay..... bye.....

WATCH IT!!!!!
