now is a time where I don't have to reiterate how much of a loser I am for a reason that you already know... ahhahah
so this goes to the Author, Suzanne Collins and all the help she got, for bringing this daebak book into earth.
the Hunger Games Trilogy was one of the books which has a tree of knowledge rooted in it. from simple info like how fire smokes are not visible during twilight unlike how visible it gets during the day and night, to War tackticks to even the most hidden meaning to it like statuses in this world defines the life you get.
personally i love this story because it has a touch of REALITY in it somewhere I just can't pinpoint. but some parts of it describes the current world we are in. how money defines your power. how the rich and the wasteful exist while the poorest of the poor co-exists with them in a hungry manner. how the powerful would manipulate the poor................... WOW, wherever Collins grew up it must be from a culture not far from mine.
I'm also amazed on the conciseness of this book. everything was all straight to the point, no detours. a reason for the 170+ pages per book. it gave me the whole story in one shot. which is very convenient and nice.
honestly one book is just as amazing as the others. when i usually point out a favorite from a series of choices, with this one, I'm just left without any. Every book is unique but gives the same impact as the other. no bad books, only that everything is so good.
like what I said in my
Hunger Games post, the technique in writing this book is just so fanfiction-ed...... it makes me wanna finish my unfinished fanfictions or even just write a story that I haven't done for years now....
last, I just want to comment on the actors... well Jennifer Lawrence is no doubt fit for Katniss.... but Josh simply doesn't [in my opinion].. maybe face value, he can... but body.... oh no.. he's obviously small and smaller than J-Law.... and what I understood from the book Peeta is supposed to be bigger.....
well other than that, I have no more to say...
probably that's it.... you might wanna stay tuned for the next couple of days just in case I start adding up to my list of awe upon this book... but as of now, I have to sleep.....
CATCHING FIRE... I'm so dying to watch you!
